Well at least one anyway.

Not much to report as it is Summer but I am trying to get a few things done. I do have drywall on one wall but that is as far as I can go right now……No more room to move. Last night I spend the evening in my workshop working on some game boards for my Mother-in-Law. Once those are complete I will be moving some of the “stuff” from the Train room into the shop and the Games Room. Once that is done I’ll finish the walls.

I am still playing with layout designs but nothing striking me yet. My only design I was happy with will need at least 6-7 people to operate and there just isn’t enough room for that many people in there. I’ll come up with something eventually.

Thought I would try to post some pictures and give you an idea of what I am trying to do. I have a room in my basement that is a little over 12 foot square. It is actually 149 inches square. My youngest is trying to get me to make it into a bedroom for him. Two things going for me in that department

• He want’s the trains to run almost as much as I do
• This room is right below the Master Bedroom so my wife doesn’t want him there either.

So this makes it my Train Room for sure. Right now it is a storage room not that you would ever be able to figure that out

Once I finally get a layout plan I wil post it. Right now I have a few drafts but nothing concrete. If there is any interest I’ll post my drafts for any comments or suggestions. I am always open to your ideas. Anyway the next step is to put up the drywall and ceiling and with Summer here the drywall is a little slow to get put up with all the other work that needs doing.

Well here goes nothing. This blog is my very first attempt of “Blogging”. Don’t expect anything fancy or regular postings for a little while at least. This Blog is my attempt to share my hobby and the construction of my RR with friends and anyone else who may be interested in the model railroading hobby. As I get more familiar with how this all works I’ll try to post on a more regular basis and make things look a little more “Fancy”. As I said not much yet but stay tuned I’m sure Ill have something soon.
